Our Standard Bernedoodle puppies are all F1 – meaning 1st generation- puppies. All moms are purebred Bernese Mountain dogs. Dads to the puppies are Standard poodles. A standard-sized Bernedoodle can weigh 60-90 pounds and be 27-30 inches tall as an adult. Their life expectancy is 12-18 years.
Blue Diamond Bernedoodles Early Development Training.
Every Blue Diamond Bernedoodle puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS). ENS is performed from day 3 to day 16 of the puppies life to get our puppies desensitized to human touch as well accustomed to different environments. All Blue Diamond Bernedoodle puppies are temperament tested by our Professional Puppy Trainer, Kimberly. She then writes each puppy’s individual descriptions based on their own unique temperament.
Our Bernedoodles have a loving, calm, and easy-going nature. They are typically not aggressive dogs. They are very social and don’t like to be left alone for extended periods of time. Should I get a male or female puppy? Males tend to be more affectionate and females are known to be more independent. The difference in both genders is quite subtle, both make great pets!
Potty training is typically pretty easy with consistency and patience. When choosing this breed please take into consideration- will you have the required amount of time on hand that this breed needs? A Bernedoodle is a good choice for a family that is not super active. They need their daily exercise but are more medium-energy dogs. They are content to cuddle and stay by their owner’s side.
Our puppies have a wavy to curly hair coat thus they require a significant amount of grooming to keep their coat from getting matted. They should be on a 12-16 week grooming schedule. After their first haircut, shedding is very minimal and they are known to be hypoallergenic dogs.
