French Bulldog Attributes

The French Bulldogs vary in color from fawn, white, chocolate, liver, black, brindle, pied, lilac, merle patterned, black & tan, and blue/gray. Because of their short face, thick-boned body, and non-aggressive temperament, they are considered a non-sporting dog breed. The Frenchies range from 11-13 inches in height, and weigh approx 25-30 pounds, with a life span of 10-13 years.

Grooming and Care for French Bulldogs!

The French Bulldog is a non-hypoallergenic dog, that doesn’t require a lot of grooming with its short coat. Occasional brushing keeps the coat nice, shiny, and healthy looking. Although they don’t require a lot of grooming, their nails need to be kept trimmed down. They are easy to train and don’t require as much exercise and grooming as most breeds do, therefore, they are excellent pups for first-time dog owners or anyone who is looking for a smaller breed for their apartment. A French Bulldog does well in small living quarters, with moderate temps, and is supervised in both high, and low temps. When a Frenchie is taken outdoors, they should be in a fenced-in area, or on a leash. It is best to not keep your French Bulldog unattended for more than a 3-6 hour period.
