Kovan reminds us of a little bear- perhaps at times a cub who has come out of his first hibernation! He’s a bit coma-like coming out of a nap especially if he’s been moved to a new room- taking a lot of time to process his new surroundings! If you pet him he may act like you have cooties- however once he warms up his heart does a complete one-eighty! You can find Kovan carefully exploring the room like Elmer Fudd- very very quiet with the analytical side with a lazy streak that guides his intentions for adventuring about! This boy usually spends his time happily smiling and laying at your feet, or on your feet if he’s feeling an authentic connection! The physical touch he craves will come around on his terms but when he’s ready we know Kovan is going to grow into one loyal pup! If you love a bernese temperament who is happy just to hang with the fam and may be more inclined to being a homebody- Kovan is the one for you!
