When we watch Barrett interact with his surroundings- we can’t help but think of Bill Murray’s character in ‘What About Bob?’ saying ‘I need I need I need! I want I want I want!’ This boy needs to feel needed and wants to feel wanted! His dream would be to find a family or a single person who treats their dogs like their own children- getting all of their care, love, affection, and most of all- attention! Barrett needs a strong new pack leader to show him boundaries on his emotions and expectations which will allow him to tap into the bernese genetic mantra of ‘que sera sera’ (whatever will be will be) so that he can be the snuggle buddy we know is in there!
